Steep grind via mountain bike trail. Good workout during shoulder season. No view at the top though.

Beautiful deck and swings, with little garden and easy walkways.

West Knob summit is treed with no view, and even then at the lower lookout you can barely see Horseshoe Bay and Bowen Island.

Didn't expect a partial blue bird day! Started out in drizzle then Grouse Grind up via Skyline Trail all the way to Dam Mountain while looping back to Thunderbird Ridge. Have never hiked beyond the chalet was pleasantly surprised by the view. Saw a size 1 avalanche in action today. Also a pine marten got into the chalet and they were trying to set up traps to capture it. Download ticket is now $20.
