I will try to be brief.
Im a loyal regular customer to this branch.
My wife went to check her bicycle with some specific notes to be checked shared with the "Atelier Cycle" people.
- Apart from the online RDV platform do not take bookings, you need to visit.
- Apart from waiting there in-line for about 2 hours until her turn.
- Apart from telling them all the specific notes to be checked, they offered a security pack costs 40 euros (in which it covers some or most of the notes she described for them: checking and adjusting brakes, checking and adjusting and modifying the chain, etc...).
- They didnt know when they will finish this check up, so my wife didnt know if she should wait or not, she waited for about 1 hour and they didnt finish, so she left and they told her they will call, they didnt, and she came back after 2 hours and it was done.
She paid, she left and the moment she rode her bicycle, the chain dropped, among other adjustments, that it appeared they didnt modify, adjust ... apparently.
She went back, ofcourse as a normal customer, mad about paying more than 48 euros for a pack that was not applied, she complained, she didnt want to wait, and guess what?
**she got verbally asked to leave and never come back after they repair and do the proper check up again, the responsible of this "Atelier" was rude, have no sense of customer point of view understanding and the time wasted to get this service as well to get a rude unprofessional response from this person!
This is what happens for being a loyal nice respectful customer, and this is how you lose customers.
We really love Decathlon, we are still customers, but we now hate going to this branch.
We tried to escalate this case, but no one even bothered to cater our needs and even simply apologize! really, not a single sorry...
Advise & tip: be careful when dealing with those unprofessional so called experts.
