Red Pepper Restaurant

I have been to the Restaurant twice for lunch in the last week and a few days earlier.
I tried the Meals with Fish Curry the first time and it was very good! It was Matta Rice served on a Plantation leaf along with Fish Curry which was spicy, tasty and had all the best ingredients of Kerala cuisine.
Sides served were Beetroot poriyal/ fry, Vegetable Kootu/stew along with Lemon pickle, Papad/Appalam, Cup of Curd Raita, Buttermilk and they also offered Rasam later.
The dessert was exquisite (Cherupayar/Siru Paruppu/Split Moong Dal Payasam).

On another occasion, I tried the Veg Meals as well.
It was very good, tasty and of great quality.
Matta Rice served along with Sambhar, Rasam, Buttermilk or Mor kuzhambu. Sides were a delicious Chammanthi/Coconut Chutney, Cabbage porriyal & Vegetable Kootu/stew alongside Papad/Appalam.
The dessert served on the day was another delicious Kerala Palada/ Paal aadai/ Milk cream payasam.

Edit 2:
The Veg Meal costed me AED 8 earlier last year, is now costing AED 9 (Since 2022) and it's worth every penny!

I have visited them again thrice to try their other delicacies like Kerala Parottas, Chenna (Chick peas) Masala/Gravy, Aappam with sumptuous Vegetable Kurma, Medhu Vadas (Black Lentil Fritters), Pazham poris (Banana Fritters), Vella Appams (Deep fried Jaggery fruity rice cakes) and Chaya (Hot Tea)!!😀

Edit 3:
Visited again with family today for Sunday lunch to savour Thalassery Chicken Biryani, Sherry Fish Fry, Kerala Meals with Fish Curry and would say that their food is still cost worthy!
