Pretty nice course for winter time, staff was nice but course was soggy due to the rain
I loved this course! The layout was perfect, and the bunkers and water were placed in challenging places. If you don’t hit the fairways, you either have to hack it out of the rough out get tree-trouble. The bunkers and tee boxes are in great condition, and not too many divots in the fairway. The greens had different levels of tiers which meant you have to hit it in the correct areas. The range + practice greens are good as well.
My only complaint would be that the greens have some inconsistencies with ball marks, but you expect that at a public course.
I would recommend this course to players of all skill levels, and it is very walkable as well.

Great hotel next to the golf course, you can putt and chip for free and use the driving range. The room is clean and spacious, and the bathroom had a nice shower and amenities. The lady working at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Many restaurants and fun things are accessible from the hotel, 20 mins to Chicago and a very safe feel. Would recommend!
East orange is a nice course with a great and convenient practice area. Playing on weekdays is worth the price. Pace can be hit or miss but you can play through many groups. Only 5700 from the Par 70 tips, great course to practice your irons. Very walkable, some interesting creeks and doglegs but not a lot of hills. Don’t expect Augusta greens but they roll true!
I recommend for beginners and Intermediate players for a nice practice round.

Pros:
-Nice layout, there wasn’t a flat spot on the entire course!
-Every hole was a new challenge
-Greens are hard to read but true to their line
-Water and bunkers are placed strategically to make you struggle
-Tees range for all length of hitters
-Fantastic views
-Staff is nice
Cons:
-Most tee boxes were slanted
-Not walkable, holes seem miles away from each other
