Good food! But no specialty or unique dishes. The menu is very much catered to the UWS customers, but they do their dishes quite well. The pork buns were especially great, and were sweet and perfectly steamed. Service was good. Overall a nice place to have on the UWS, and great for classic (although a bit Americanized) dim sum.
Such amazing people and great food. My friend and I were invited inside, and since it was our first time, the owner gave recommendations and explained how ordering works. The cook behind the counter set us up with a perfect assortment of foods and drinks to try. Their Egusi was so good, and the plantain fufu too! I loved the fried fish and the Waakye, and I’ll definitely be back to try everything I missed the first time. Definitely get their ginger beer, it was some of the most fresh I’ve ever had — their hibiscus drink is great too. Try this place out!!
The first thing I should mention is how reasonably priced everything here was! The two peking duck sandwiches we got were free since we ordered a couple other dishes, and were delicious. The chicken was decent, although I wouldn’t recommend it. Their xiaolongbao, however, were amazing!! It’s absolutely worth it to order the sampling dish of each kind of dumpling. We also tried their jellyfish and it was very well done, super refreshing. After everything, they even gave us a free dessert! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone coming by Flushing.
Great food, and pretty reasonable prices! The northern Thai dishes were great to see on the menu, since it’s generally hard to find northern food in the city. The Tum Kha-Nun was very unique, and I would highly recommend anything from the northern Thai section. Everything tasted great, and the waitress was very kind. I would definitely come again!
