A wonderful place to visit. It has so many outlets and seatings outside for those that want to sit and watch thier significant other shop. A trip into Victoria's Secret for those who want a lift in their Spirit, and they have many more outlets. They have live show entertainment at times and the school kids enjoy the surrounding that provide them with places to sit and enjoy the sun. Quite and peaceful with plenty of tree shadings. The famous Shake Shack is amongst them. A wonderful place to visit.
It's amazing. You have to see it yourself to believe it. You see the fruits stands as soon as you walk in. They have a hot soup section as well as a salad section stands. They have a sandwich area that caters to you with sub sandwiches and wraps prepared right there. A sushi counter. The bakery is incredible with an assortment of wonderfully looking cakes. Heading to the back you have the meat deli. The set up is clean and the isles are neat and clear.
The area is a mixed area of many cultures, but, the overall maintenance by NYC Housing Authority as far as the pavements needs Dire attention. Door locks have to be up dated and uneven and cracked floor grounds have massive holes. Scaffolding that have been left for quite some time and drain holes have large holes on the side. If it rains the ground holes retain the water for days. What once was a nice place for kids to play became a thing of the past. But, overall the people in the community are diverse. It's what makes the area interesting.
Edenwald Community Center is a community oriented center that provide various services as well as a youth outreach center. They also provide every Second Tuesday of the month a food pantry for those who are on a government assistance program.
Such as Snap and low income. They would have to provide an award letter from social security and or proof of low income to quilfy.
