Outstanding Greek food in downtown Boston. Delicious, well-prepared items. They have some counter space inside, or you can do takeout. Their kale salad and lentil soup were excellent. And the baklava was a real treat. So glad we picked this place over sweetgreen.
Massive, scenic park in the middle of Brooklyn. It is not as developed and landscaped as Central Park, but it does feature actual natural forest, the last in Brooklyn they say. There's a good mix of small trails and large paved roads, so it can accommodate people out for walks of varying strenuousness, plus people running or biking. There's also a good mix of hills, flat areas, forested, and open spaces too. The lake is nice, with lots of turtles sunning themselves. The park is a real asset to the community, a great place to explore or exercise.
Fantastic ramen in a small, low-key restaurant with minimal crowds. We started at Ippudo nearby, but it was ridiculously crowded with a long wait. We found Misoya and we were so glad we did. The service was excellent, and the food was perfect. The seaweed salad was very tasty, and the ramens were expertly prepared and very satisfying on a cold night. Try the mame if you want a more distinctive flavor. Highly recommended.
Excellent bagels in a wide variety of flavors. Service is fast. My omelette was a little bland, but the bagel was great. Atmosphere is utilitarian, but if you're focusing on the food, then it's fine.
I went here for a company party. It's basically a big long empty room. You can fill it with whatever decorations you want. It's best at night because the warehouse look of it is minimized. The floor is asphalt and concrete, but they have an upper floor with semiprivate spaces and a balcony overlooking the main floor. I was worried that it would be cold in winter, but they did a good job heating it. It's not the most posh space, but it gets the job done.
