A huge brick building that thankfully has not been plastered so it retains its originality. The ground outside are well maintained and there is very good information about how Christianity evolved over the years. Then of course there is the main church where the body of St Francis Xavier lies entombed.
Unlike Hindu architecture, there are no carvings on the walls but the massiveness of the structure is very impressive. Worth a visit!
