You have to go and see the view from this scenic outlook in this little park! I get it. Pike Place first but this MUST be second you will not regret it.

We spent an enjoyable hour on a gorgeous day watching the progress of a container ship entering the Seattle port. The views are amazing. The views are clearly the go to backdrop for the locals as evidenced by the live Fox News broadcast from this location on the day we were there.

The surrounding neighborhood is lovely as well. Please respect the homeowners in the area. Watch your noise, respect both the public and private property, and enjoy the wonderful views.
We were greeted at the Cabot Tower by an authentic Ambassador of Newfoundland and Labrador - Chief - a 5 yr old Labrador. The views from this area of the city of St. John's and the harbor area are unsurpassed. There is a small gift shop in the tower. There is plenty of parking nearby. The narrow staircase leading to the observation deck on top of Cabot Tower is not accessible to people with mobility issues. There are no washrooms on the premises. The trip to this viewing point is well worth it.
