Honestly the food was delicious and the quality of fish for sashimi and sushi is premium. However the agedashi tofu was disappointing and the sauce was rather bland. Wagyu steak was very good and well prepared, our only complaint was the slowness of the service, the absence of the server, the unclarity of the menu, we couldn't do any omakase courses because it was summerlicious but were only told after we had ordered, indications on their website are also unclear. Place is a bit overpriced if I had to be transparent.
The ambience of the place is okay but they had no AC and instead had to use fans. It definitely lowers the upscale of a sushi restaurant. I suggest you choose to sit in a booth V the main area because that area feels more like a cafeteria.
Another downside is how my Sake was poured. Usually sake are served in a shot glass filled up to the very top. This is the first Japanese restaurant where my sake glass was not fully filled. For 33$ the shot glass I expected better.

A charming little location with a great staff and wonderful food. I highly recommend the octopus and salmon tartare! Although honestly everything on the menu is delicious! They have a nice small selection of wines and delicious cocktails, the ambiance is cozy, comfortable with a flair of mystery. Another great thing is that this is a no tipping establishment!
