The food was really good. I had an issue with the attentiveness of the staff. They were nice, but when asked for something, it took forever, especially paying. It took 20 min to get the waiter's attention and two attempts just to ask to pay, then another 10 min for someone else to bring the receipt/money book.
The staff was amazing! The waiter found a way to get us (2 people) in despite the place being nearly full! I definitely recommend reservations when possible; we tried but the line remained busy. Our server was fantastic and kept the most genuinely happiest mood the whole time.
We ordered 5 appetizers as our meal, which was a great way to experience the variety Jose y Josefina offers. The food was pricey, but it was well worth the flavor.

The building and staff were nice. The exhibits when I went were difficult to consider art and of the few parts that came off artistic, most of it wasn't visually appealing nor carried a message. Frequently, the art lacked connection and meaning to me. It just felt like someone made a deal in order to get a handful of aspiring artists resume fillers. Of the handful of pieces that did positively stand out, I wish those artists the best and feel bad their work was surrounded by not art.
