Three of us went for lunch, when they offer an 'all you can eat menu'. Two of us went for that, my daughter only wanted a bowl of their Egg Fried Rice, which has always been good in the past. She was playing sport after lunch so ordered from the a la carte menu. My choice of starter was the Spring Rolls, of which two were served. They were small and tasteless, so I was planning not to touch the second. My daughter asked if she could try, to offer her views. In a microsecond the waiter was at the table aggressively pointing out that that was not allowed without my daughter also paying for the 'all you can eat menu'. I get the principle, but what a poor customer experience. I am left wondering if my second uneaten Spring Role was destined to reappear at another table, as otherwise what is their loss? The place has changed for the worse, that is for sure, as the rest of the meal was only of average quality. I doubt we will go back.
