Clean (relatively), and straightforward station that serves up where I needed to go when I was staying there for around a week. The area around it can get a bit dodgy but generally the station itself is fine and I like how it's an above-ground station, as it feels more airy.
The Origin is the newly-given name to the whole shopping centre complex that houses the Cineplex, Goodlife, Good Catch, Kiu, etc. It was formerly simply known by locals as "the downtown Markham Cineplex building" which I guess got kinda awkward. Why developers Remington didn't bother giving this building a name when they first built it (instead choosing to retroactively name it close to a decade after the building went up) is beyond me.
Still, it doesn't change the fact that now I can properly do a review of this place. Many units have come and gone (there was once a Thai Express here!) But honestly the fact that it's got a Chatime, a Lucullus, a Good Catch, and the VIP Cineplex makes this place worth a visit. Underground parking can be a mess at times, but otherwise, it's a nice "mall" and definitely the centrepoint of Downtown Markham area.

Love this little hidden gem of a park! Tons of comfortable, spaced out seating in the midst of some beautiful trees and greenery. It's so fascinating that this quiet spot of tranquility sits literally half a stone's throw away from the busy Sheppard Ave. But that's what makes it nice - it's not far away from where you need to go so it makes for a cute little detour/break in the middle of your day!
The supermarket is great and is my fave part of this indoor mall. However the rest of the mall is abysmally bad. It's yet another "failed" mall from a customer's point of view unless you count that a mall full of random lawyer's offices, wholesale stores, realtor offices, and the occasional beauty salon to be something you really love.
It's a mall with no sense of purpose or direction, but I do love how spacious the main atrium is, the semi-decent food court, and the fact that yes, that supermarket (Seasons) is one of the best Asian supermarkets around. Parking is usually not a problem too.

It's funny, I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with this strip mall. On the one hand, it has some of the stuff that I need all the time like TD, T&T, and some good restaurants. On the other hand, the parking is indeed atrocious. It's so crowded all the time, and also the space is tight and haphazard at spots.
But overall, it works fine, still worth a visit to do what you have to do.
