Hotel Indigo is a beautiful and centrally located hotel in downtown LA. The rooms were clean and spacious. I also had an amazing view from my room. Now to the customer service. I was scheduled to check in on Monday and can admit that I forgot to update my hotel reservation after the airline offered to change my flight due to Hurricane Hillary. I called to make the adjustment on Tuesday after I realized only to have the representative impatiently tell he couldn't find me because I have 2 last names. He eventually found the reservation after providing the confirmation # and informed me the front desk would have to adjust the reservation from M-F to Tue-Sat. I get to the front desk and am informed "We don't have any rooms; you can just check back." (They did in fact have rooms available but I had just got off a 5 hr flight and didn't feel like fussing). I called the following day to see if I could check out on Saturday and they informed me that I needed to go back to the front desk. So finally after talking to 3 people, Irvin at the front desk was able to help me change my checkout to Saturday. I know that you attract bees with honey so I always make sure to check my attitude even when I'm in the wrong but the fact that it took me talking to 4 different people to accomplish such a simple task is utterly ridiculous. Irvin is honestly the only reason the overall rating is a 2 instead of a 1.
