Great vibes and cocktails here at this beach facing bar and restaurant. We came here at sunset to try their famous Mai Thai, but it was very busy - the bar was full and there was a 30 minute wait for a table. However, we could order some drinks and sit in the waiting area and watch the sunset and enjoy the live music whilst we waited to be seated. The cocktails were expensive but strong and delicious. We also tried their famous coconut cake which was like eating clouds. It was so light and fluffy and delicious, a must try at this hotel.

Flavours of all the dishes were very good and service was friendly and attentive.

Whilst all the dishes were very tasty, the slight let down was the cooking of some of the dishes. The quail carrot honey starter was a bit over. It had a nice chat but sacrificed the texture of the quail in the dish as it was very chewy and not succulent. The duck main was also a bit chewy, it looked pink but the texture wasn’t very tender. The red mullet spaghetti was good but the fish fillet on top didn’t really add anything to the dish.

Over all still an amazing place for dinner. The truffle special dessert was delicious. As were the croquettes and the scallop artichoke starters 👌

Cool venue and vibes, but drinks and service were just okay. I tried the set of 4 tasting cocktails as well as a margarita. The margarita was good but the other four drinks were not that nice. The balance of flavours in the drinks were way off.

The staff were also not very attentive and it was very difficult to get their attention to order or to get the bill. We ended up just walking up to the bar to order.
