We had a wonderful dining experience at Shelter restaurant.
What I loved most was the ambience of the restaurant. In the evening, the indoor dining area was lit by oil lamps, dim spot lights, and a fireplace while the patio was lit by propane heaters. Such created a cozy atmosphere overlooking the harbour.
The food was tasty and filling. We enjoyed the salmon, mussels and shrimp pasta, and two tuna dishes alongside a calamari appetizer and chocolate dessert.
Although the restaurant was full the night we went, the food arrived quickly and our server was attentive.

We had an absolutely amazing time surfing with Tofino Surf School.
Our instructor, Ben, was friendly, personable, and encouraging. As this was our first time surfing, he made sure we were comfortable with the board and the water before we headed out.
