My recent dining experience at Karahi Point was a mixed bag of authentic Pakistani flavors and a slightly disappointing service.
The Lahori Fish Tikka was a delightful start to our meal - fresh, well-cooked, and appropriately spiced. The accompanying chutneys, one creamy and one slightly sweet and spicy, were perfect complements.
The Chicken Bihari Boti Kebab was another triumph, tender and flavorful. For our main courses, we opted for the Full Chicken Kebab Karahi and the Chicken Reshmi Handi. The latter, blended with secret spices and tender cheese, was a rich, creamy delight. Despite being a smaller portion, its richness made it quite substantial for our group of four.
Our choice of breads - Garlic Naan and Roghni Naan - were satisfactory, with the Garlic Naan being our preferred choice due to its robust flavor.
However, the service left something to be desired. We faced considerable delays in receiving our beverages and had to remind the staff about them multiple times. Similarly, reorders of naans, tissues, and water were overlooked, leaving us feeling somewhat neglected.
While the food at Karahi Point was truly enjoyable, the service could definitely use improvement. Here's hoping that future visits will see a more prompt and attentive service to match the high standard of their cuisine.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Alioli Ristorante, an Italian restaurant that left a lasting impression on me. My family and I have specific dietary requirements; my father is a meat-eater but allergic to seafood, while my mother is a vegetarian who doesn't like mushrooms. However, the staff, especially Antonio, went above and beyond to ensure that we had an enjoyable dining experience.
Antonio was incredibly kind and hospitable, taking note of our dietary restrictions and providing suggestions that catered to our needs. For my mother, he prepared the Butternut Squash Ravioli, traditionally made with mushrooms but made without mushrooms for her, and it was absolutely delicious. The dish was expertly prepared, and the butternut squash filling was perfectly seasoned.
For my father, Antonio recommended the Lamb Chops, which were tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The meat was cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. As for myself, I am a fish lover, and Antonio suggested the Pan-seared Seabream fish. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked, and it came served with couscous, which added an extra layer of flavor to the dish.
We finished our meal with the Tiramisu, which was appropriately sweet and incredibly soft. It was clear that the dessert had been made with care and attention to detail, almost as if it had been made to order just for us.
The ambiance of the restaurant was also lovely, with soft lighting and cozy seating arrangements. The service was outstanding, and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable.
Overall, I highly recommend Alioli Ristorante to anyone looking for exceptional Italian cuisine and a memorable dining experience. The food was outstanding, the service was impeccable, and the ambiance was perfect for a relaxing evening out. Thank you, Antonio, and the rest of the staff, for making our evening so enjoyable!
