This area has changed over the decades. While there are plenty of stores, there aren't any bookstores around anymore. I was disappointed when Barnes and Nobles left and then later Borders. It used to be fun spending a good deal of time browsing through books while sitting down trying to choose which book to buy. It's not like that anymore and the area has become "very on the go", meaning shop, eat, and then go home.
This store becomes crowded really fast depending on the times that you visit. I also don't like that the jewelry display is in an awkward place, which is in the waiting line. It makes it hard to browse the selection of jewelry with people impatiently waiting behind you. I was told once that I was holding up the line when that wasn't my intention.
I used to work around this area years ago but I never ventured to the eateries there. I went to eat at the Friday's TGIF restaurant and the food was really good. I didn't get a chance to stop by JP Licks for tasty ice cream.
