Shopping centres are not my favourite thing, but if I must, this one is pretty good. The foodcourt has some different choices. There is almost everything you might need to buy. It is pretty easy to get around and there is plenty of parking. Be aware that the streets around can slow your trip by a fair bit.
How can you go wrong with such an iconic location? The view is amazing, sit on the upper deck if it is not too cold. At least to start with. We were fortunate to be there as the sun went down which gives stunning vistas. The city skyline, THE bridge and the Opera House.
The food is good, not too much of a wait, was a chilly evening and not too crowded.
We had the burger which was delicious, the meat was so juicy. Comes with plenty of chips so beware.
Also beware of the seagulls that will pinch food off your plate- so make use of the food covers they provide.
We also had the harissa eggplant which was delicious.
I forget the name of the red- it was OK with food.
The spiced rum was excellent. Sweeter rather than dry. Spice was mild and nicely balanced. No heat.
Staff are super friendly and even on a cold night there is an enthusiastic buzz.

A great park. With history, rocks to clamber over, trees and tables for picnics.
It is easy to get to and has water access for launching your kayak, canoe or small dinghy. You have to carry them to the water, so nothing too heavy.
Great views.

This is a nice little French styled Bistro, friendly staff, clean atmosphere and a nice outdoor area. I was there for breakfast. They have some nice French style options. I went for the crepes with jam. Nice crepes not the lightest, nice jam nothing special. The coffee was good. Nearly $50 for two of us- on the pricey side. It is styled as a bistro not a cafe, it does look like it would do evenings pretty well. But Breakfast was a bit lacklustre.
I would go back to try the night time menu, but wouldn’t go out of my way for breakfast again.
What did you think.

An really cute out of the way, almost feels secret, museum in the heart of a shopping centre. I love the way the tower is preserved inside a great glass atrium.
The museum is small, tucked away inside an RM Williams store. You can walk in unharassed though.
It has the story of the tower, the video wasn’t working the day I was there, but there is enough to make it worth the visit. You can see right up inside the tower as well (but not climb it).
