A monument to an interesting character from Berlin's past.
A functional modern hotel that is part of the Motel One chain.
This one's key advantage is its close proximity to downtown Munich and still it is situated in a quiet residential area at the edge of a park on the bank of a small river.
It has 9 floors with 40 rooms each and yet you can't feel the size. Our room was quite tight with not enough space to properly unpack but OK for a short stay.

Such a beautiful example of turning 19th century industrial biuildings into a modern and stylish urban environment.
Seen better days. Looks tired and lacking energy. Good choice for a quiet holiday.
