Be sure to look up! We only scratched the surface of this large park and gardens.

Great views over the water. Beautiful gardens. Walking paths. We saw beautiful Rainbow Lorikeets in the trees. Impressive trees, monuments, gardens.

Stopped here to grab a quick meal on the go. We are vegetarian and they had many choices. The food was fresh and excellent. So much flavor. Often, falafel and grilled eggplant can be dry in a sandwich. Combination of the salads, the sauces, and the food made a rich and delicious sandwich. Really loved it!

We had the Sabich and the Felafel sandwichs. Also got a side of hummus, which is so delicious.

No much space to sit and each. Mostly a take out place. Service was fast and efficient.

We like to come here before we go to the Jazz Forum for music. It’s a short walk between the two.

We especially like this place because it always has multiple vegetarian choices. We love their sister place called Grass Roots Kitchen (GRK). GRK food is truly delicious. The vegetarian options here, we had the Bucatini with cashew sauce and the Fettuccini Bolognese with mushrooms, are always good. Rarely delicious. The bucatini was meh and the fettuccini was good. Neither were excellent. This is often the case here. We’d also like to see more protein choices like tofu, seitan (bravo for the soy salmon on the menu), beans, etc.

Good menu here for all types of eaters. Burgers are excellent. Lots of local ingredients. Servers are friendly. Tarrytown has a great vibe.

We went on a recommendation and really liked it. We are vegetarian and there were many choices, not only in the veggie curry section (of which there are ~20 choices)…so read the menu if you’re vegetarian. I feel confident that the meat, etc is likely also excellent.

We started with Hara Bhara Kebab and then we had Saufina Paneer Tikka, Punjabi Kadhi and Tofu Matar. (Wewanted to try some different things. See the menu for descriptions)

The appetizer was tasty. Not a ton of cheese but a new (to us) variation on an Indian fried patty.

The mains were very good. The Hara Bhara Kebab was my favorite. And we both loved the Dal Makhani that came with it. The Punjabi Kadhi was my partner’s favorite. Lots of sauce as opposed to the drier, but delicious tandoori spiced cheese with grilled peppers and onions. The Tofu Matar was good, but less flavorful.

We will be back!

Not many veggie/vegan foods places in the area. Picked up the vegan plate (see pic). The food was excellent. Good flavor. Large portions. Would try again.
