We only got as far as the butterfly garden and playground for this picnic visit but we were delighted with what we experienced. Bathrooms were clean and accessible. And the butterfly garden was in full bloom and with lots of action. Such a beautiful and inviting space.
This joint hit the spot when we needed some downtime. Chips and salsa were good and we definitely recommend the Ultimate Margarita. The bar staff were friendly and took great care of us, too!
The Hoover Dam is one of the most secure fortresses I've ever visited. The history of its construction is very well told and represented in the Visitor Center. The process of moving the crowds through is well oiled making the tight spaces not such a big deal. There is a 10 minute movie, elevator ride 530 feet underground, and short tour of the facilities. We really enjoyed the hands on museum and spent more time there than we expected we would. The enormity of the dam is difficult to comprehend.
Gorgeous pool and gardens expertly designed and maintained.
This is a great place to refuel after walking the Niagara Fallsview Trail. My Cobb Salad was plentiful and tasty (even if the dressing was a bit heavier than I preferred), and the BBQ brisket was delicious. We also enjoyed the original and refreshing ales. And our server was very friendly and accommodating.
