I respect their preservation of Margaret Olivia Slocum Sage's dream community. Or modern Garden City. And from what I've been told by old-timers about when it went dilapidated in the '70s and 2000s, parts were almost condemned, they came to the rescue and especially rejuvenated Station Square which looks brand new, The way it was intended. Speaking of which, The Russell Sage foundation intended Forest Hills Gardens to be affordable housing for low income God-fearing educated people. Like me! And that vision has been desecrated by The self-serving obnoxious snobs that permeate throughout this office. Sir Ebenezer Howard is turning over in his grave like a Boston market rotisserie chicken on the corner of Continental and Austin. The newbies to this neighborhood don't even respect what the West side Tennis club contributed to the legacy and history of a wondrous divine ethereal neighborhood. At first their offices were in Central Park but they couldn't afford the rent so they went to the more affordable neighborhood Forest Hills Gardens. Do you hear me?!?! These Gardens newbies are disgusted by the very concerts that brought supreme Glory to the neighborhood. Anyway Forest Hills Gardens needs fresh new blood, I'd love to live on Dartmouth and 69th right across from the stadium where the Beatles played historically in 1964, when a helicopter landed in Forest Hills Stadium And then they stayed in the former Forest Hills Inn, now the Station Square Inn co-op. And I wouldn't doubt She Came in through the bathroom window. And I'll challenge every single one of the Forest Hills Gardens Corporation's snobs to a quizlet about the rich history of Forest Hills Gardens. Even with half a brain, I bet I resoundingly beat you, even if I give you a Head start. I believe Fred Olmstead Jr and Grosvenor Atterbury would appreciate your efforts to preserve their sublime legacy. But in making it exclusive, you have driven people out like me who are so passionate about the history of my gardens that it has become my ministry. And society at large, just like the Gardens has become so lawless. Young teenagers walk throughout the gardend smoking pot and brazenly blowing it in my face. This is coming from someone who fought to bring trader Joe's and fresh organic products and produce to a community, which was truly deserving. I even saw someone on the private streets of the Gardens without a parking paermit, brazenly using a blowtorch in broad daylight to melt the boot off of his car. When I reported it to the 112th, they told me to mind my business. Lmfaoo
The 2.5-acre triangle Remsen cemetery lies on the back end of what was once the Remsen family farm (formerly Hempstead Swamp) which covered the entirety of Trotting Course Lane, back when the mode of transportation was horse and carriage/wagon. Eventually in 1898 it became what is now Woodhaven boulevard with the introduction of the automobile. The Remsens were English Dutch settlers from Northern Germany who proudly fought against the British in the American revolution, unlike the majority of Tories in Queens County. This was formerly New Towne and Hopedale and became the anglicised name Whitepot in 1653, actually was genuinely called whiteput, which means hollow Creek in Dutch. The last intact remnant of Whitepot. This is the very beginning of what became Forest Hills today - named as such by Cord Meyer Development, after in 1906 purchasing 600 acres of farmland in White Pot - and this land being in such close proximity to Forest Park. It eventually became ReGo Park as it was acquired and developed by the Real Good Construction Company in the 1920s, They developed all the crescent streets bordering Woodhaven and Alderton street (formerly Orville Street) and gave them aristocratic names to attract wealth. This is a very important cemetery lovingly restored after time and vandalism with brand new marble headstones in 1980. An important reminder of the bravery that made colonial America great. Visit Trader Joe's and buy an Envy Apple and party with true American Patriots.
A brutally honest review from a Sagittarius... Madison York Rego Park congregate Care level 3 is regulated as a drain stop to catch society's troubled outcasts before their hitting rock bottom. I give administrator Deana Sollitto kudos, especially during coronavirus of which she handled adroitly and resiliently, including the subsequent staffing and supply issues it wrought. In my 5 years living there, the moment she became aware of how deadly a traumatic brain injury I suffered, she stuck tight to the rule of law. I have great empathy for her. TBH,I've never been around this many truly disabled, but as well, unrealistic residents: substance abusers a few former convicts and the emotionally disturbed and congenitely homeless They can be an overbearing difficult demanding population of which to deal. They cannot even help themselves and present great difficultly to an overburdened system. The very reason why there's no other place to house them. I am highly ambitious and managed to keep my head above water and administration stayed out of my way and allowed me to become the hugest success! I will never regret my choice of assisted livings! Living there I became an astoundingly functioning guy with permanent brain damage!🤯💪 My PCP calls me Robocop. It's the greatest second chance at life I could ever be afforded. Work hard for your independency and dream big and you could expect for it to become reality. There will always be a significant pride, fondness and longing in my heart for every single one of the magnificent staff. 💓 😢 We will always be family, albeit a dysfunctional one.💯

Bucolic Park across the street the historic Forest Hills community Center synagogue, The heartbeat of my neighborhood, you will find the older population playing chess And on Sundays performing Tai chi throughout the entire park making it feel electric and alive. Especially nice with the Sunday street fairs selling fruits and vegetables, Right across queens blvd you have the historic beautiful Ridgewood Savings Bank, which is 83 years old. And there is a planet fitness right behind the park. Sweet location.
