Celebrated dad's birthday here and was absolutely blown away by the quality of the food. Son had the lamb chops which were I think the dish of the evening, I had the pork belly which was also very well executed. Mash was silky and the gravy bursting with flavour. Bill for 5 of us including wine came to £240, definitely the best food available in the area.
UPDATE: Ate there last week and not of the same quality any more, pizza was nowhere near as good as it used to be. Wine list had also gone down hill, cost of living crisis I assume. Sad really...
The diavola pizza is a work of art. Huge hat tip to Fabio on creating the best pizza I have ever had in the UK, I look forward to many more. Staff are fantastic and the ambiance is that of a family run Italian Trattoria, all round great dining experience.
