Delicious onigiri. We came after it closed, but there were many flavors available for takeaway sitting on the counter. We explored the rest of the Katagiri market before taking an unagi and salmon onigiri to go. A delicious treat and wonderful protein-rice ratio for energy on our walk in the city.
So glad to have tried the Souvla in the Marina. Parking is more reasonable, indoor and outdoor seating is plenty, and the food is just as good. I often get the black bean vegan “lamb” option in the gyro wrap and my wife gets their chicken salad. The mandarin oranges in the salad are SO good, you’ve gotta try it once. We also get the Greek fries, which are equally as delicious. And when you get to enjoy the meal with your pup in their sunny parklet, you won’t want to leave.
I love Great China. The flavor of each dish is only matched by the speed it takes to pump out the best Chinese dishes in the Bay Area. I may be biased, having spent so many dinners at Great China since it’s old location closer to campus. We often order 10+ dishes when we come with a group of 8. Can’t stress how great the food and service is.
Come for the double skin, Peking duck, walnut prawns, Yuxiang eggplant.
