I feel extremely disappointed. Sushi and Rolls quality of fish meat was simply not up to par of what is expected. I would say the fish meat I ate is barely above supermarket quality fish meat, which would not be considered Sushi quality at all. None of the rolls were very innovative. There was zero wow factor throughout the entire meal. I’m sorry I would only give this restaurant a D+ grade. The reason why it doesn’t get a C grade is because the price is already quite high and I would’ve expected it to be higher quality ingredients and the restaurant service was very very bad. Forgetful and food was brought in random sequences, appetizers came last after everything and the random servers that brought the food was not “our” server so hence they cannot get anything we need but we have to ask for the randoms to go call “our” server. Lol oh and many parts of the restaurant are pretty dusty

Racist and discriminatory front desk staff! Young pretty front desk gal, verbally abused me tonight May 16th 7pm. I was polite but the lady kept bashing us with insults for simply looking at our skin color. You can see the difference she shows to white customers as opposed to when we walked up, the tone and attitude suddenly changed negatively. This day and age honestly you should know better than to judge a book by its cover, but the staff at the Maybourne hotel are by far some of the most snobby service workers I’ve ever come across in all my years of traveling. I’m a resident of Beverly Hills and I will definitely recommend you to stay somewhere else that has kinder and competent staff. There’s so many options of competition such as Peninsula, Beverly Hills hotel ，Hilton etc.

The whole vibe is weird don’t know what to make of it. And unsure of the crowd they actually want business from. I thought it was gonna be hip and cool but it turned out to be a bunch of old people and funky looking dudes everywhere. I needed to leave immediately.
