TOO HOT TOO VISIT IN SUMMER, EVERYTHING IS REALLY DRY AND NOT WORTH THE WALK OR BIKE. We visited in summer 2023, the thermometer reaching some 47 degree celsius in August. Although parking and entrance is free, we would not recommend to do this: it is unbearably hot, not place to find shade, the palms and the oasis in general is rather dried up. We had expected more.

Not much to see here if you are into „normal“ shopping. Some upscale stores and eating places, that’s it. No place to go with the family. Lamborghini dealer right here.

NOT MANY STORES YET, BUT SPACIOUS & MODERN LAYOUT. First of all: it is easy to get lost at Reem Mall, as this venue is really gigantic. So be sure to remember your parking space and the way to get there (I am always making photos with my smartphone, especially of the store right next to „my“ parking entrance). Reem Mall is still ramping up and there are many, many (many!) spaces still to leased. That results in long empty hallways in which only some stores are already in place. Eventually it will get there but right now it does not excel in comparisons to the other malls around it.
