Fun! Place to spend an afternoon, right next to the canal in Georgetown. Of course, things in Georgetown tend to be pricey, so keep an eye on what you're spending and have fun!

Marvelous mansion in Rockville. Was there for an event, very impressed by its size and grandeur. If you have an opportunity to go there, it is a wonderful relic of a bygone era.

Great place for lunch or dinner! We had prime rib, and appetizers - it was great!
One piece of advice, let them know if you want less salt on your food - it was well salted, and clearly did not need it.
Parking is in the garage below the building, and the elevator takes you to the lobby/restaurant.
The staff was excellent, attentive and very helpful.
They have a good wine selection and a nice bar too.
Make sure you save room for dessert the key lime pie and bread pudding are definitely exceptional!! (And large - consider sharing)!

This is an interesting shopping center, as it is clearly in a transitional phase. I frequently go there for the home Depot shopping, although the parking garage with its second level is abysmal for anyone driving parking or walking through it. The store is usually well stocked, well lit and I've never had problems getting what I want in that particular home depot.
As for the rest of the mall, it's an interesting mix of stores and the parking lot is much easier to navigate without the second floor.
The mall has an interesting mix of shops and food and is always worth checking out!

Nice suburban shopping center located around a Starbucks. Well it may make you feel like you've stepped into something in the town of Stamford, this sleepy little shopping center has everything you need and is in walking distance to most of the local neighborhood. I especially like that there's lots of parking.
