We went to Tanoor during our stay at the Hampton Inn and Suites downtown. It’s a walkable distance and had one of the highest review ratings on a restaurant near us. The food was good but to me not exceptional. We had the classic gyro which was okay. The lamb and beef shawarma was much better. The fresh bread was a huge plus. The Turkish coffee was nice. The service was as a little slow. The restaurant is very clean and well furnished. No alcohol.
What an amazing historic theater. The architecture and design can leave you in as and amazement. Not only do you get to experience top notch productions but you can explore the visually masterpiece of The Fabulous Fox.
There is a nice drop off area if you are taking a car to the show which makes arrival and departure very easy. There are plenty of outlets for food and drink and as with many theaters plan to spend some time in line. Not sure if it was just the show we attended or not but the sound quality was not perfect.

This is a nice Whole Foods in Times Square. If you’re like me a like to keep some food and drinks in the hotel and this spot it a great option for travelers visiting Times Square. There are two levels. A really nice hot to go food section and deli premade foods.
It can be a little confusing your first time. So my help to others is there is a sled check out upstairs. This was our quickest way out. The have cashiers downstairs but an odd way of being called to the front. If you find yourself looking for the check out downstairs as did we it’s towards the south side around the corner.
