Wasabi is a hidden treasure that imho has the tastiest sushi in Williamsburg/Greenpoint. The menu is massive so they have just about anything you are looking for. Can’t go wrong with a bento box for lunch or dinner, chicken teriyaki never disappoints. The atmosphere of the restaurant is always pretty calm and welcoming. It is a family owned business and the owners are always there providing excellent service.
Very beautiful place to spend a Saturday. Red hook is such a quaint little neighborhood that we can spend all day in. Pro tip - sneak in the garage next door to see some of Dustin Yellin’s amazing creations.
I think Redhook Coffee shop may be the kindest coffee shop we’ve been to. The barista was so inviting.
When we got there she was having a great time laughing with the customers.
She also told us all about where they get their baked goods (Phivi artisanal desserts). Get the brookie, it’s a cookie and a brownie 🤯💯
And, the space is beautiful with a rustic comfortable vibe. Tons of cool trinkets to browse through and a great place to get some work done or spend the afternoon reading

Do support these hardworking people. Benjamin Thomas must have been having a bad day when he wrote his review of this store.
Sung and her husband opened this store in 1979 and have been running it themselves ever since. This store is a local staple and should 100% be supported if you live in the neighborhood.
Sung is super sweet and so helpful with anything you need, her husband not so much, deal with it. 💯💯💯💯💯
