There is a 6$ entry fee. We went in evening on weekends and still it was very hot and sunny.

There are lots of picnic table available but very few lake facing. The park was not at all crowded.

The ripple of the water, the beautiful trees , sun shining off of the water in the lake , and sound of chirping of birds and geese, made the experience very calming and relaxing. While walking along the river, it was such a beautiful view to see the sun disappearing below the horizon.
