Great way to spend an afternoon. Interesting exhibits and rooms. Child friendly, great museum shop, caters for all ages. Entry is free, although certain exhibits attract a fee. Have fun!
Went at low tide to explore the rock shelf with grandkids. Always a delight with lots of toadfish, seaslugs, seastars and other delights.
Great tidal pools for those who are wary of the ocean. Also coastal hikes with great views.
Clean toilet facilities.
Currently some work going on in the lagoon area.

Took an impromptu walk in this lovely wetlands area. The boardwalk and path are well maintained and suitable for all ages and abilities. Lots of birdlife, and spotted many waterdragons.
Short a star because of some litter and dumping along the path, but otherwise a delightful spot for some exercise and peace.
No dogs/cats allowed.

Lovely stretch of beach, popular with swimmers, surfers, runners, and sunbathers. Safe for kiddies with lifesavers on watch. Great scenic walk all the way to Shelly beach, dotted with water dragons and aquatic sculptures. No litter, well-maintained beach.
On a good beach day, parking can be tough!
