Great place that looks like a tourist trap but is all but. Great decorations and pierogi dresses on the waitresses, food is excellent, portions are big, prices are very decent. We did not leave hungry or disappointed.
Try the rye soup and the cabbage beef.

First things first, gondola tickets are a LOT (75$ per person) but you get the best views of Vancouver, a pretty nice 45-minute Lumberjack show, two bears that live in a very large area, a bird show and beautiful wood carvings. The restaurants are decent but a little bit expensive.
If you have the courage and physical fit, I'd take the stairs up, but that is a long walk in itself.

I wanted to like this place, as it looked great and the service was great, if even a bit overenthusiastic. I've seen in the reviews that the burgers are the thing to go for, but their signature burger did not really impress, as the cheese was really just in the way and did not add anything, felt like rubber in the burger. Tuna salad barely had any tuna, which was weird for a 30$ salad. Scotch egg was really good though.
Overall a nice place to spend time in, but for these prices they should up their food game a bit.

We tried to have lunch here, but on a Monday they were out of meatballs and salads and the poutine was sadly wayyyy too healthy (thus way too un-poutine). Other than that there were many beers, they are open early, beer tasted super fresh, they have craft sodas available and the seats are comfortable.
