Saturday lunch time. It was dead.
Which is never good sign checked the reviews before I walked in.
Expensive for like pub fayre and normal pub quality.
Service was friendly enough.
Drinks expensive.
I guess it’s high street prices.
But there is an Afro Caribbean place down the road. If I’d known I would been there.

I really only picked here as everywhere else in Windsor was packed.
It was just myself in there at 230 for lunch.
I did require internet. And it was atrocious. For connection and speed.

Try at a push but otherwise better slightly cheaper options.

The food was a little let down.
For all the pomp and show the food was unusual but really didn't seem that much refined or worthy of this restaurants iconic status.
I would take the food as an experience more so than taste.
Innovative certainly but maximum taste no.
Menu changes as per season of course, but summer 23 don't get the ramen. That was in fact the most disappointing dish of all that we tried.
The pigeon was the best cooked pigeon we'd ever tasted.
I'm old I guess.
So the very very loud hard house music so much so you couldn't hear the staff was a throwback to the 2000s for me. Where loud they thought meant atmosphere. 🤦
At least please play some US House a more mellow sound.
I have been here once now and I wouldn't come back for food.
But I would for the brilliant cocktails.

The bar was not even open for the one evening performance.
I have given this theatre a terrible one star even though the Google algorithm will be hardly affected by this.
