SUCH A GREAT FIND! Most restaurants near our hotel closed during the afternoon which made our options slim, but yokosuka was open, we walked over. We were greeted, sat right away and food came out quickly. The waiter was welcoming and speaks English. I ordered the salmon menu and got miso soup, salad, hot green tea and a salmon roll. Everything was fresh and flavourful! In fact, we liked it so much, we grabbed take out from there another night during our visit! Great food, great prices! Highly recommend!

Beautiful church near old town Donostia. Free entry and beautiful at night! We saw a newly married couple exiting the church in the afternoon which was fun and then headed to Old Town Coffee just behind the church. We walked past it again that night on the way to dinner.

Crowded, but great. Standing room for pinxtos and drinks, seating available for people wanting lunch and dinner. I tried my first Txacoli wine here and now I look for it everywhere I go! They have plenty of pinxtos to choose from if you're feeling a snack with friendly service!

Such a WELL DONE aquarium! The lady at the ticket counter was friendly and they have free cubbies for shopping bags and backpacks. They have models of ships, bones, shells, and so many cool animals!! The whole thing is laid out well and has lots of opportunities for being up close with the fish and sea creatures. I especially liked the auditorium where people can sit and watch the huge tank of fish (see if you can find the two eels) and the tunnel under the shark tank. I saw a bunch of new animals and had a blast! It was a great rainy day activity and I'm so glad I didn't miss it!

Such a fun surprise! Just walking around the beach and exploring the area and you walk up on three enclosures, one with penguins and two with two types of seals. No fee required and both the animals and their areas looked clean and well maintained. The walk is easy and the views looking back at the city and across the water are great!
