Food here at this place is absolute treat to your taste buds. I ordered Adana and Turkish Afghan platter which is also called special platter. Adana has 2 beef kabab skewers which comes with side of rice salad and sauces, special kabab platter has Turkish beef pide as base and is topped with chicken shawarma and rice and salad. I asked them to replace rice with kabuli as I’m big fan of kabuli. The kababs were cooked fresh and it took them some time to severe as everything was served fresh. Really enjoyed my meal and hoping to go back soon.

An Indian desi restaurant located in the food court of Metropolis at Metrotown. I gave it a try, you can get a combo with two curries, rice and naan, you can also take both naan instead of rice and naan or just the rice, I’m not a rice person so I asked them to give me 2 naans instead of rice and naan. The combo costs $16 and additional $1 for a drink, you can choose between hot and cold drink as they offer chai as well. The food I guess is was not fresh/over cooked as it’s sitting on the stove since it’s cooked so probably that changes the taste of it over the time. I tried it in the evening for dinner, maybe the it tastes better in the afternoon when it’s fresh. I chose fish curry and channa masala both tastes below average!

While roaming around on istiklal street and exploring I felt hungry and wanted to try something local. After taking a look at few restaurants decided to eat at this one . Ordered Cop sis and Adana kebab, both the orders had wheat, onions, reddish, carrot, pita bread, a big grilled green chilli and baked tomato on the side, replaced wheat with white rice for one dish to make it different. Both the items were tasty and freshly cooked!

The staff at this subway is very welcoming. I ordered sub of the day it was chicken tikka flavour. I like my sub to be warm so once they wrap it, I ask them to warm it a little in the oven. Normally it doesn’t matter where you are dining in at the subway, the taste is same.

I went for dinner and ordered half mutton karahi, daal makhni and Turkish kabab. On the side we’re chapati, naan and puri paratha with salad and raita. Everything was served fresh and hot, Karahi was good and had enough gravy. Daal makhni and kabab was also to my liking.
