For my sister’s birthday, our family went to Fathom for dinner. What a huge difference to the previous venue! The update is amazing! The atmosphere is bright and inviting and you have the option of sitting on the enclosed heated patio, in the main restaurant area, or the cozy lounge.

Our group had some starters including the Milk Bun Rolls, Calamari on fried Brussel Sprouts, Mac and Cheese Sticks, and the Spicy Tuna Bites. Unfortunately the food was devoured before I arrived so no pics of the starters but everyone raves about how good everything was.

For our entrees, the table had Scallops on a Spring Pea Risotto, the Sablefish with Prawn Odens, Gnocchi with Spring Peas, the Mahi Mahi with Sea Asparagus and Wild Rice, a NY Stiploin, and the Beef Tartare Smokebowl. The presentation and playing of the food was so tantalizing and the table was silent as everyone was engrossed in eating the incredible food! My Beef Tartare Smokebowl was quite the spectacle as it arrived at the table in a large glass bowl filled with smoke with the dish inside. The flavours from the smoke and the Beef Tartare along with the grilled bread was indescribable! I’ll go back just for that dish alone!

Overall an amazing experience and the service from our server was top notch as he took the time to answer questions and describe each dish in detail as it was served. His passion for what he does definitely adds to the experience! Highly recommend checking out Fathom!
