Really enjoyed our lunch here. Colourful delicious food, served with a smile. We started with the small dishes, bread, homemade chips and dips and the scallops. Our two mains, barramundi beautifully cooked, moist full of flavour and nocchi with olives, soft pillows flavoured by the olives were delicious. I couldn't forego the chips as well and they were delightful. My favourite was the sauce from the barramundi. Restaurant is really welcoming and fresh. We sat outside and enjoyed the fresh air. Book ahead
We had our wedding at Bougainvillea House. The staff were amazing from the booking process through to the final touches of the day. Lauren (incredible) our event coordinator was in contact with us regularly keeping us updated and providing suggestions of what we should do. John (fantastic) managed the night and was behind the scene keeping everything perfect. The weather was atrocious - storms everywhere, but the staff kept everyone dry and comfortable. The outside area was set up picture perfect with indoors set for 60 guests. The wait staff were so attentive and friendly with the food impressing all 60 people. Our day was made special and perfect by the staff and venue. Thank you all so much. Such a beautiful place.
This place likes bookings but has space also for drop ins. The food is served in generous amounts, well flavoured and is what it advertised. Pricing is reasonably for the quality of food and service. We had the prawn and broccoli, fresh vege and plenty of large prawns (frozen), all 3 protein dishes were spicy. Two, beef and chicken were delicious. The third, a spicy fried chicken was ok. Service was really friendly and attentive. Bathrooms were poor.
On an extremely busy night the staff were friendly and attentive in taking our order and serving their delicious food. I had the prawn Pad Thai with large perfectly cooked prawns, I was happy with the flavours and noodle, but some may want to add some chilli. The masuman lamb shank fell off the bone and was easy to eat, no heat, so again you may have to ask. The fish cooked 2 way was delightful as was the papaya salad - great texture and flavour balance. The pork belly was so good we had 2 serves and the spicy ribs were exactly that. We had a great night, we enjoyed the busy atmosphere and the kids loved it
Well kept, good kids activity area, a few adult exercise items. It's next to a oval, so plenty of space to run!!! Nice view of the ocean, plenty of people riding bikes and walking dogs!
