Now I finally understand the appeal of this place and other bary mleczne. You're almost guaranteed to wait in a queue, but it's truly worth the wait.
The food is really delicious and the prices are unbelievable. If you want to try authentic Polish cuisine, do visit this place or similar, as opposed to the fancy overpriced restaurants in the Old Town.
Be aware that many dishes tend to sell out quickly, particularly during lunchtime.
Oh, and another thing for fellow tourists: please don't sit and chat for ages after having finished your meal, especially at peak hours. When I was there, the place was packed, there was a long queue and a pair of foreigners (I think they were exchange students there), were just chatting at the table with their plates empty for the entirety of my stay there while people were waiting for empty tables.

Not a bad interior.
I've never before been to a church where they take donations via card, haha. I guess they need to adapt to the new times, if not ideologically.

Surprisingly nice experience at BGY. The Arrivals & Departures area is quite small but there are self-service bag drop areas, which was nice and efficient. The staff at check-in were friendly and helpful, as well as the trainees they had at the time.
No problems or extremely long waiting at security. The area after security is more spacious, there are comfortable chairs, many restaurants and shops, free table football etc.
