I had a few nights stay at the GB and it was a positive plus experience
This hotel is the former Sir Francis Drake hotel (that I never stayed in) and the hotel still retains that charm especially in the lobby. It really is beautiful to see the tall ceilings and detail in the multilevel lobby area. A good classic SF feel
On my particular stay, the front desk staff was super helpful, polite and professional.
My room was updated, clean and very nice. Smaller in size compared to something more modern but for a hotel structure this old you have to work with what you have....and it's comfortable and nice
Overall, the GB is a nice place to stay and would come back as well as recommended it.
Do note that if you are a hotel points person like Marriott Bonvoy the GB is an independently run hotel and is not part of any point/club.

Incredible history here as well as modern day sports/football stadium
I have been here multiple times and spent time on the stadium looking around as well at the pool. Both incredible on a wa summer day
Easy S-Bahn transportation to get to/from

Interesting building PACKED with WWII content relevant to the site/location itself and the rise of German socialism.
Personally, it was too much content to digest but the entrance fee wasn't too much where I felt I needed to stay longer to get my money's worth....
If you are visiting during the summer months note that the air inside the bunker is very much still/stagnant
