Amazing food with a interesting concept for how you pick your food. And even though it is quite small and feels like a takeout place, there was good table service and we had a lovely time here. The atmosphere wasn't all that, but the food definitely made up for it, I will definitely visit again and try more options!
This zoo has been around for a long time and I remember visiting it often as a child. Since then, numerous updates to the park have occured, which still make it fun and good to visit with your family.
It isn't the biggest zoo, it doesn't have the most amazing animals, but it's nice for a shorter day and enough interesting things programmes through the day.
The catering was kind of a lot down. The staff was very young and felt a bit clumsy. The selections are mostly unhealthy and we even got cold fries and not properly cooked poffertjes & waffles. This could definitely be improved.

Had lunch here at the Riverside restaurant, located nicely in proximity of the river. We were nicely greeted and helped by the staff throughout our stay, and even helped us with our coats.
The menu was good, I would've liked some more experimental choices for this price range. Food was fresh and tasty, but I would've liked a bit more shrimp in my salad Riche.

Well maintained church, with nice staff. Went here for a PhD defence, very good experience because of the good tech, well placed speakers & microphones, and the seats are pretty good.
It's a bit hard to reach of course in the city center, but a not to for away walk from central station (about 20 min)

We had dinner here although it's more suited for lunch. It is a beautiful place and just looks and feels brand new and is very nice to spend an afternoon especially with kids.
I had the "well stacked pancakes", which was a good large portion and very tasty. It did feel a bit weird to pay 2€ extra for a tiny bit of extra (cheddar) topping.
Some of our pancakes were a bit on the dark side, but since it was a hearty dish it didn't influence the taste that much.
Looking forward to coming back here with my daughter. It's so nice that we have a place like this in Overvecht now.
