Great mountain bike trail with multiple entry points and parking for 20ish cars at each. Easy to ride with wooden humps in sections. It can get a bit crowded on weekends but is always respectful and fun.
Fully stocked with all sizes and extra wide widths available. It's not the trendy shoes but you'll be able to find something that fits well and won't cause joint pains later in life.
Cooper Field

Great field for a college lacrosse game. The stands are close enough to the field for viewing but safe for the players. Well done Coopers! Parking is about 0.2 miles away, but Georgetown is just an absolutely beautiful campus, super clean and well maintained so great walk to take in the sites before entering. Only downside is the food lines are super slow during lacrosse games, literally missed a quarter once standing there,
Monroe Ave Dog Park

We share the same concern as a prior post with the extra wide spacing of the fencing. Our 12 pound Yorkiepoo walked through with ease, and it freaked us out. We were focusing on making sure the other dogs would be compatible but never thought to check the fencing. The street is about 15 yards away. Otherwise, it's a really great park. Friendly dogs and people, not too crowded, soft gravel, clean, limited parking spots, but no trash cans specific for dogs. And a great coffee shop next door (Swing Coffee) with bathrooms.
About the size of 2 to 3 tennis courts with 6 foot half pipe, a half dozen quarters, benches and rails. Great park for any talent level.
