Super friendly staff, delicious coffee, and excellent pastries, there are no downsides to a visit to PrkUp!! Check'em out, you're gonna like them.

Tiffany is THE BEST!!! She is extremely helpful, informative, friendly, and above all, very patient with prospective tenants. She took the time to show us quite a few available units on the first visit. She later took us through a couple of them again while we struggled to decide. She consistently made us feel that she had our best interests at heart and wasn't just trying to lease units.
We visited several buildings in Paulus Hook and the Lenox had the most well designed units as well as gorgeous shared spaces and amenities.

I want to like FancyFree but it seems like they have some kitchen issues they need to sort. Visited twice and had problems both times. First time they burned our Fried Pickles appetizer and had to remake them so they barely came out before our entrees, leaving a large gap between when our cocktails arrived and actually got food. Server explained and apologized but still...
The second visit they served our appetizer with our entrees, also not cool. Cocktails, appetizers, then entrees, it's not hard.
Having said all that, the food and cocktails are pretty good. In spite of not timing them right, the Fried Pickles are tasty. Fried Chicken entree was surprisingly boneless and the chicken was quite good. The waffle less so, the dough was weirdly dense, not airy and light as you'd expect. A&W Old Fashioned cocktail had great flavor and was not too sweet. Fish and Chips entree from our first visit was also pretty good.

Overall, I'm on the fence. If they can sort out the kitchen issues, they could easily be a four or five star experience but based on what we've seen so far, gotta go with three.

Excellent little cocktail bar on the edge of Prospect Heights behind Barclays Center. Cocktails were creative and delicious as was the queso fundido. Waitress was super nice and extra friendly. Great experience overall and will definitely be back. EDIT: Staff here have ALWAYS been super nice! And the cocktails are consistently tasty!
I would come here even if they only served chips/salsa and margaritas. Seriously, they're that good. Atmosphere is super casual and family friendly and tex-mex dishes are on point. Service is always attentive and staff are very friendly.
