The hype and recognition really is worth it! First, the entrance is lovely. You are welcomed by a toasty fireplace (fall/winter) before being greeted by a host! Someone happily brings you to your table. The view is outstanding, depending on where you’re seated. If you’re going for something more romantic, I’d required a window seat/view. Each course was delicious and better than the next. Love that the dish was explained each time there was a new one. Made consuming it all the more interesting when thinking about flavors and materials. Of course, can’t forget the pack of matches as a keepsake! The photos are just a FEW that I took. Kept eating too quickly, which means it’s good! Side note: the Canlis signature salad is wonderful, as well as the aged wagyu!
We ironically came here just a few hours after our friend sprained her knee, since it’s called Nurse Bettie, for sh**s and giggles. Ended up being such a great choice! Small, intimate, but fun place to hangout and grab a drink with friends, or maybe go on a date for a more quiet experience. Great music the entire time. Drinks were good and strong. We’d definitely come back and do recommend others try it!

I first moved to Baton Rouge 3 years ago, and was looking for a cute local boutique I could support while living here. I went here, there, and everywhere, then finally discovered Moxi! The owner was there the first time I ever went into the store (I didn't know she was the owner at the time!), and I couldn't have asked for a more friendly, sweet, kind person to chat with me during my shopping. I still remember that day and am thankful for it! All of the employees there are incredibly helpful and sweet. Ever since then, I go to Moxi for just about every outfit I need for any occasion. Great casual, semi-casual, semi-dressy, and dressy clothing! Great price and quality. I have a little fluffy turtleneck tank top I wear in the winter/fall that I've had for two years from them, so I think that goes to show it's worth it!
