So beautiful and whimsical!! There is plenty of parking nearby, and a good section of the road is cobblestoned pedestrian only. Lots of food and drink options, a plant store, hair salon, etc. You could spend an afternoon here! Very relaxing and beautifully decorated with lights (and now for Christmas). We went on a Sunday afternoon, but this would be a stellar date night spot! Excellent atmosphere, and fantastic small businesses dot the street. Perfect!
Great historical park to learn and spend a couple of hours! Plenty of interesting things to see and plaques to read. Nice area to bring a picnic. Dog friendly and fun for kids. Plenty of parking. Lots of grass to roam and sprawl out (and socially distance as needed).
Our favorite place to go to catch the sunset (or sunrise!) or just to be near the water (without all the sand and fuss!). It’s so calm and tranquil here. Lots of history, stunning views, and a great place to relax and unwind. We have seen marriage proposals, lots of dogs at play, lots of fishers/crabbers/shrimpers, picnickers, bicyclists, kayakers, and walkers. There is truly something for everyone here without feeling crowded. Surprisingly, there’s always parking available too!
Beautiful square in the middle of the city with tons of history and significant buildings surrounding. It’s beautiful and clean. Mind your surroundings and the pickpockets (everywhere in BA, actually), but it’s a very nice and peaceful area to spend a good amount of time. There are many local markets and events on the surrounding streets. You’re sure to experience the full culture and feel of Buenos Aires here.
