I realise so much depends on personal circumstance - I’ve been in buildings in New York with the absolute worst building management who made everything harder for me - but my experience with the staff here was always great (Dmitry in leasing to Milton, Lee, Ignacio, Juan etc…. even Alek ;-)). They were all very friendly and accommodating and most importantly, human (as opposed to corporate robots).
My apartment was great. My kitchen was new. Lots of storage. There was always hot water. No insects or sanitary issues. A few times I had a sink clog or some problem, the handymen were quick to repair.
The only downside is the heating in winter - it gets VERY HOT - and the only option is to have the heating to your entire unit switched off for the winter or open windows and use AC. With hindsight I should have done that, because heating was ridiculous.
Another small issue when I moved in was with my payment - they couldn’t find it. After a few emails back and forth, they did resolve the matter eventually, rather than ghost me, which is good. It would have been better if that didn’t happen at all though.
The building is very grand when you walk in, looks like a hotel lobby. There are plenty of elevators so you’re not waiting very long.
All-in-all, I would definitely recommend living here.
Thank you to the people I called out above.

This restaurant is a gem. Beautiful decor, very friendly waiters and absolutely delicious food at reasonable prices. The shared dip starter was so good. Little bonus because unlike most of New York the music isn’t too loud that you can’t hear yourself and I really appreciate that!
This was one of the suggestions for my Birthday after the Crillon so I thought I’d check it out with a few friends beforehand. I’m so glad I did. I would definitely not recommend the place.
From the start the waitresses are very rude, they give off the « mean-girls-we’re-too-good-for-you » vibes. Even for Parisian levels, this was bad. One blond waitress would literally scorn and sigh in your face. It was very unprofessional. At one point I even asked her if something was wrong. We weren’t welcomed, we weren’t seated, we had to look for the barman ourselves.
The clientele is very Kardashian and overall early twenties.
At the end of the night, two people remained on our bill to pay, and we asked for a breakdown of what needed paying - the waitress got very aggressive as if asking for a receipt was a massive inconvenience to her and she actually told us it wasn’t possible. Again, unprofessional.
The two stars is because the decor is cute. It’s a shame there’s an attitude problem, they’ve lost huge business from me but somehow it’s the sort of conceited place, I don’t think they’d even care.
