Beautiful restaurant with a long imperial history. It has several rooms including for private events so although it is big it feels intimate. You can gave cheese fondue experience in the garden under warm wool blankets and an outdoor heater.
I expected the worse based on the reviews but I was actually impressed by the cleanliness of the tent and bathroom, both very well appointed too. The food was by far the best we had in all refugios in 5 days. Placement was also nice with a great view in the morning.
The bathrooms were disgusting and so small that with the door opening all the time it was very cold. The placement is in a very windy spot so that kept me up all night. The food was really average. The bar is a nice addition with really great pisco sour.
