The best way to sum up my experience at Chiado was mediocre at best. Sure, going for Summerlicious means you're going to have slightly worse ingredients in the pursuit of the experience, but for $75.00 per person, this was pretty unacceptable. The sad thing is, the appetizers were actually quite good. The lobster bisque was creamy and rich, and the Ceviche was pretty good as well! Unfortunately, our mains were just ok. My lamb chops tasted super gamey, and the portion size was shockingly small. Serving a single small potato to me just feels like unnecessary cost cutting. The monkfish risotto was better, but it was just fine. To cap it off, I finished the meal with a tiny slice of lemon cake. I'm not exaggerating when I say tiny, if I tried I could absolutely eat this slice in a single bite. The creme caramel was slightly larger but was ultimately not very good. It didn't really have any caramel flavor, mostly tasting like eggs. Oh well! Service was just fine. Our waiter was very cold and impersonal, though we were greeted very warmly by a different server. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful though!
All in all, I didn't find Chiado to be particularly good. Would I go back? Certainly not.

Another hub for Asian cuisine and other stores, Metro Square is always bustling with life, either at one of the countless restaurants located within the plaza or inside the mall itself. Some notable restaurants to check out are Tai Ping Hsiang, CoCo, and the fantastic food court! I'm knocking off a star here due to the hectic parking lot, but overall, there's always something delicious waiting for you at Metro Square!
Really fun and easy walking/hiking trails! Very beautiful as well the day I visited. Would highly recommend checking Nashville Conservation Reserve out if you get a chance to! Be wary though, the bridge leading to the main trail may be closed when you arrive...
