We didn’t go see the exhibition (we weren’t really interested and we found the ticket price rather high), just the palace from the outside and the gardens and it is truly beautiful and peaceful. Highly recommended especially during the autumn season 👍
Ratskeller Aachen

We believe this restaurant shares its kitchen and staff with the Postwagen, where we tried to eat first but with no success as we were “forgotten” upstairs…
We then decided to try Ratskeller, as the menu was appealing and the other restaurants nearby seemed to offer mainly fast-food.
The food was overall very good, although I wasn’t too fond of the pheasant (but the poached pear and oysters as entrées were both good, and the cod as well). The only problem was, again, the service. The restaurant didn’t seem very big, and although we saw at least 5 people working there (including the same lady that was at the other restaurant), everything took a long time (just bringing the menu and taking our order took around 30 minutes, and when we finished ordering our dinner, we were asked if we wanted the wine list, even though the very last thing we asked for was a bottle of a Chardonnay… 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️ oh, and the bottle didn’t come, just a glass, but that’s ok). We also noticed that some other people that were already there seemed to wait a long time for their dishes as well.
The staff was friendly and they spoke English and French, which was a plus, but the service was a little underwhelming especially since we were already hungry from our wait at the Postwagen.
I would still recommend this restaurant and prefer to give it the benefit of doubt.
We came here during an excursion, restaurant suggested by our guide, and we were very satisfied with his choice. The restaurant is a bit hidden, so I don't know if we would have found it by ourselves, but it's very nice inside: lush interior garden, nice decoration and it was clean and quiet. We ate the chicken tagine, and it was good, and also the cheese briouates and the pastries. We felt, though, that this was a restaurant mainly for tourists as we didn't see any locals here. So, not very authentic, maybe, and tailored for foreigners, but we still enjoyed our meal. Also, you can pay with your Visa card, which was great as we had to save some of our local currency for tipping, and the service fee is already included (8%). The staff was very friendly.

Restaurant with excellent location, good for people watching (but not exactly quiet, although I suppose none can really be in this neighborhood).
We were excited to come here, since we're Portuguese ourselves, but we were very disappointed. We asked for several dishes to share ("tapas", although that's not exactly the word we use in Portugal): clams, shrimps, grilled vegetables and chorizo. We didn't really like any of our dishes: the clams still had sand/debris and were very salty (and not really "à Bulhão Pato"), the shrimps (only a few) were, on the other hand, had no salt at all and didn't have the taste we expected, the chorizo was too spicy and not Portuguese neither, and the vegetables were simply bad (hard, unappealing...).
Also, the service was very, very slow (we were in no rush, but we waited a long time for our food and, if you call them "tapas", then they are usually served at the same time or in a quick succession).
One final thing: we understand that, even though this is supposed to be a Portuguese restaurant, not every member of the staff has to speak Portuguese, but if you try to, don't say "postre" or "muchas gracias", because that's Spanish... it's like speaking German to a French or vice-versa just because they share borders.
Ah, and yes, as others have stated, it's really expensive for what you get.

P.S.: next morning, we were both sick with diarrhea! Great!...
NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL !

Nice park, not far from downtown Calgary if you're on foot. It was cold and windy when we went there, but the parked seemed nice nonetheless. We saw many squirrels and there are beautiful flowers everywhere. Also a good spot to take some pictures of Bow River, but in a sunny day it must be much nicer.
