Great park and water/splash park. Toilets on site are very basic, had no toilet paper and doors didn't lock properly, but park was very busy.
Free parking on Broadway but it's a 15 minute walk to the park. There is also a big pond to walk around and lots of walks through trees. Ideal for pushchairs, bikes and scooters.

Fab English Heritage property. We got to the car park at 10:20 and the main car park was already full so we parked on the Euro Car Park and walked back round.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and keen to get us to buy membership!
Good venue lots to explore in the castle and around the grounds.

Fab soft play for younger children, ther is a range of activities different types of obstacles. Some of the soft play needs replacing but we'll maintained and cleaned. Only set amounts of people allowed in which helps with being busy. Food and drinks available, friendly staff which makes a difference.
Great library good choice of books for all ages! A good selection of audio books too. There is a self checkout so you are able to return and lend out books on your own. Children love picking their books signing them out an also returning on their own! There is also a sensory room and on our visit there were several tables set up for chess games!
Good park but landscaping needs improving. Lots of raised curbs that my son tripped and fell over.
